2004 Okabena Antique Tractor Pull

Okabena's first Antique Tractor Pull event was originally scheduled for July 3, 2004 at 11:00 a.m.  Unfortunately  the event was rained out but was rescheduled for July 5 at 11:00 a.m.  It seemed that rain was determined  once again to ruin the event but luckily it held off until the last contestants were almost finished with their tractor pull attempt.  A large crowd attended the event and along with all of the other 4th of July programs, it was a great success.

Before the Antique Tractor Pull competition began, JD Lewis presented Lois Behrens with a plaque commemorating her husband, Vernon Behrens.  Vernon helped JD Lewis and Wilbur Soleta plan and organize the tractor pull but passed away prior to the occasion.
